The Hampshire Research Institute uses scientific, engineering, and computing expertise to make a difference on environmental issues. Maintaining a generally low profile, HRI works in collaboration with other organizations and publishes public information, to leverage the skills and experience of its small staff and broaden its impacts. HRI's contributions result from technical analyses, idea generation, education activities, and communications. The Hampshire staff is small, highly trained, and broadly experienced in areas from policy-setting to manufacturing. Partnerships with environmental organizations and with governmental bodies expand Hampshire's influence. Hampshire is effective because of its ability to provide innovative thinking and sound technical analysis in easy-to-understand form, with integrity and independence. |
